 LAOS TO HOST THE MATCH NORTH KOREA

& SYRIA

FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have decided on the match between North Korea and Syria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup - Asian qualifiers on June 6 to be held in Laos.

This is a match in which North Korea is considered the host, but FIFA is concerned that the match cannot be held in Pyongyang, so it has requested to be held at a neutral stadium.
